“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age” (Matthew 28:19-20).

These words from the Gospel of Matthew, known as, “The Great Commission” provide the cornerstone for what we are excitedly building & naming, “The Sayre Foundation (TSF).” The mission of TSF is to create disciples, cultivate compassion, and provide essential resources to uplift and empower those around us. To this end, it is the goal of TSF to gift money in five major areas: Community Outreach, Scholarship, Family Investment, Community Helping Hand, and Making Disciples (missionary & ministry work). By sharing our time, talents, and treasures, through our faith-based initiatives, we hope to transform lives, restore hope, empower others to overcome challenges, and invest in the lives of those around us in ways that simply multiply the kindness & love of Jesus Christ while living according to the truth of the Gospel. 

Our foundation will operate on the principle of generosity balanced with the tenant that all giving must have a purpose. Funding for the operations of TSF will come from the nine brands that comprise the family of hospitality-based companies of the Sayre Hospitality Group. To that end, The Sayre Foundation Board will hold itself to the standards of fairness, transparency, and responsible stewardship regarding the resources that have been entrusted to us. 

We are humbled by the opportunity to create & operate TSF and even more excited about TSF serving as the vehicle through which our commitment to and investment in people and local communities grow & strengthen.
