SHG DIRECTOR OF RESTAURANT OPERATIONS


Are you passionate about the food and beverage industry? Do you have extensive experience
in managing a restaurant and bar? We are seeking a friendly and energetic Restaurant & Bar
Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all operational
aspects for our restaurants and venue bars. From ensuring exceptional customer service to
maximizing profitability, you will play a crucial role in providing a memorable dining
experience for our guests who visit our restaurants and who are clients at our venue event
bars.


Responsibilities
• Work with the general managers at each restaurant to oversee the management of the
the daily operations of our three restaurant/food service brands: The Golden Bear,
Junipers Restaurant, Sam’s Pizza, & Zip Station. This includes: staff scheduling,
inventory management and budgeting.
• Where applicable, work with the general managers of each restaurant to oversee all bar
set-ups, bartender scheduling and alcohol inventory management, and budgeting.
• Manage bartender staff to ensure adequate number of SHG bartenders, proper
scheduling at venue events, & successful completion of all required training.
• Ensure efficient and smooth operations by coordinating with the kitchen, front of house,
and bar staff.
• Maintain high standards of service and guest satisfaction by actively engaging with
customers and resolving any issues or complaints.
• Implement and enforce company policies and procedures, ensuring that all staff adhere
to health and safety guidelines.
• Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team, providing ongoing coaching and
mentoring.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and
implementing strategies to drive sales and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional activities to
attract and retain customers.

Requirements
• Proven experience as a Restaurant & Bar Manager or similar role in the food and
beverage industry.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a
team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable
demeanor.
• Proficient in restaurant POS systems and other relevant software.
• Extensive knowledge of food and beverage operations, including menu planning,
inventory control, and cost analysis.
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations and maintain composure in a fast-paced
environment.
• Outstanding customer service skills, with a focus on creating a positive dining
experience for guests.
