Tammy Cruise

Tammy joined the SHG family in March of 2022 and currently serves as the Director of Venue Operations and Sales. With an extensive background in corporate development and marketing and over 30 years of customer service and management, Tammy brings a degree of expertise that greatly supports the growth of SHG and its entities.

Prior to joining SHG, Tammy was a paralegal in corporate law. Her love for and interest in the law led her to become a corrections officer. While working for the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office as the Development Officer, she began writing grants and working with state and local officials to secure funding for Wayne County.  During this time, her passion for development and marketing was solidified. Fortunate to work with organizations securing donor funds and implementing strategic visions, Tammy carries many of these skills to her current position. She has successfully implemented policies and procedures to ensure successful daily operations of the venues belonging to SHG.

Tammy’s enjoyment of working in service to others reinforced the importance of investing in one’s community. She served with several organizations including the Wooster Noon Lions, Quota of Wayne County (Past President), People to People Ministries, Friends and Neighbors of Every Womans House and The Wayne County Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Coalition.  She also served as an elected member and past president of the Triway Board of Education. In addition, she also enjoys working to improve the services to senior citizens in our community, thus serving on the committee for The Wayne County Senior Forum.

Tammy and her husband Matt, a retired law enforcement officer, have been married for 38-years. They currently live in Wayne County with their three dogs and are parents to twin daughters and grandparents to three grandchildren. They enjoy traveling, camping and spending time with their family.
