Betsy was recruited as a part-time catering support team member by her son, Logan, in August of 2020. She quickly moved up to a team lead position and in December of 2022, she took on the part-time role of human resources manager. In this role, she was responsible for recruiting team members for all entities of Sayre Hospitality Group, Inc. During this time, due to the growth of the company and the loss of key team members, SHG upper management developed the Director of Operations for Village Catering position. Based on her organizational skills, leadership, and desire to help SHG be successful, Betsy was promoted to the director position in June of 2022.

Betsy grew up on a dairy farm in southwest Wayne County and is a graduate of Triway High School. Betsy earned her certification as a medical receptionist/transcriptionist and in 2020 earned her CPCU designation.

Betsy and her husband Neal have been married for almost 25 years. They have two sons, Brandon, who is married to his wife Skye, and Logan, who is the Business Manager for SHG. Betsy & Neal also have two grandsons and are expecting their third grandchild, a girl, in March 2023. She and Neal currently live in the country with their eight chickens: Ugly Betty, Penelope (Penny), Harriette, Robin, Dottie, Cupcake, Brownie & Oreo, and are looking forward to expanding their chicken family this spring.
