$11.00-$15.00 per hour plus tips, based on experience and availability

SCHEDULE

The cafe operates Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Availability within daytime operating hours is important.

Position Overview

Chameleon Cafe is adding dependable, friendly team members who enjoy great food, colorful drinks, and serving others in the heart of Downtown Akron. Team members learn multiple parts of the operation and work together to create a welcoming, efficient cafe experience.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome guests, take orders, and operate the register
Prepare coffee, specialty drinks, sandwiches, wraps, salads, and cafe favorites
Follow recipes, portioning standards, and food-safety procedures
Stock ingredients and supplies and communicate product needs
Clean and organize service, dining, and kitchen areas
Help open, maintain, and close the cafe according to daily checklists
Support teammates wherever needed during fast-paced service

What We Are Looking For

Positive, dependable, and service-minded
Able to communicate clearly and work as part of a team
Comfortable learning several stations and responsibilities
Able to stay organized and accurate during busy periods
Previous cafe or restaurant experience is helpful but not required
