Overview
The Person in Charge (PIC) plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Golden Bear, a local favorite ice cream shoppe & grill. This full-time position is responsible for overseeing daily activities, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent time management abilities, and a passion for training and development. As the PIC, you will be instrumental in driving sales and ensuring inventory management while fostering a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Manage cash register operations, including transactions and balancing at the end of shifts.
• Assist in training and developing staff to enhance their skills and performance.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with inventory management to ensure product availability.
• Provide exceptional customer service
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment that meets health and safety standards.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a supervisory role is preferred.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in cash register operations and basic accounting principles.
• Experience in training development to enhance team performance.
• Available both opening and closing shifts
• Ability to sell products effectively while providing outstanding customer service.
• Minimum of 18 years of age.

Pay: $16.00 – $17.00 per hour
