Position Overview

The Golden Bear, a brand of Sayre Hospitality Group, is looking for friendly, dependable team members to help us serve the Apple Creek community. This is a hands-on role in a busy seasonal restaurant and ice cream shop, and it can be a great first job for someone eager to learn.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests and provide friendly, efficient service
  • Take orders, operate the register, and follow cash-handling procedures
  • Prepare ice cream treats, grill items, and other menu products according to standards
  • Keep workstations, dining areas, and service areas clean and sanitary
  • Stock products, monitor inventory, and communicate supply needs
  • Follow product dating, rotation, waste-tracking, dress-code, and food-safety policies
  • Support teammates wherever needed during busy shifts

  • Dependable, responsible, and willing to learn
  • Friendly communication with guests, coworkers, and managers
  • Able to multitask and maintain attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Food-service experience is welcome but not required; training is provided
