Chris originally joined the Village Catering Company in 2017 and worked as the Director of Catering Support. After a short hiatus, he returned to the Village Catering Company and now serves in the role of Interim Assistant Director of Village Catering company.

A 1999 graduate of Smithville High School, Chris studied business at the University of Akron. Shortly after his high school graduation, Chris started his career in the hospitality industry at Cedar Point Amusement Park. Starting as a seasonal employee, he worked his way into a management position in the hotel division. Soon thereafter, Chris ventured into the corporate world in hospitality with Hilton Hotels, where he started as a bartender and advanced into management, eventually earning the position of Operations Manager. Chris eventually found himself working his way back to Wayne County when he accepted his first leadership position with Village Catering Company and remained for two years. After leaving VCC in 2019, Chris relocated to California where he continued in the hospitality field. Now, coming full circle, he finds himself working again as a member of the VCC leadership team in his new and current position.

Chris married his partner in 2023 and they share two fur babies. In his spare time, Chris enjoys taking day trips to Amish Country, spending time with friends, and attending concerts and movies; he is also an avid antique shopper. Chris is excited to be back on board with VCC and looks forward to the continued growth of the company and all other SHG brands.
