LOCATION Smithville and Wooster/Greystone kitchen operations	POSITION TYPE Part-time opportunities; additional hours may be available
COMPENSATION $18 – $20 Hourly (depending on availability & experience)	SCHEDULE Weekday, evening, and weekend shifts may be available based on production and event needs.

Position Overview

Village Catering Company is looking for a reliable dishwasher to help keep our kitchens clean, organized, and prepared for production and events. This role is essential to the success of the entire culinary team and may also assist with cleaning, organization, and basic kitchen support.

Key Responsibilities

• Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, pans, utensils, and catering equipment
• Operate dishwashing equipment safely and maintain the dish area
• Remove trash and keep floors, sinks, racks, and work areas clean
• Return clean equipment to the correct storage locations
• Assist with general kitchen cleaning and organization
• Support basic prep, stocking, or load-out tasks when assigned
• Follow sanitation, chemical-handling, and workplace-safety procedures

What We Are Looking For

• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
• Able to work steadily in a warm, wet, and fast-paced environment
• Able to stand for extended periods and safely lift kitchen equipment
• Willing to follow cleaning systems and help wherever needed
• No previous experience required; training is provided
