Saturday Catering Event Staff Positions – MUST BE AT LEAST 16 YEARS OLD

We are looking to hire catering event staff to work on Saturdays in the fall; we are also ready to welcome permanent part-time team members who would like to work at events scheduled throughout the week.

Catering Event Staff members typically meet at one of our culinary kitchen locations to load equipment, supplies and food and then carpool to job sites. We also provide catering services at three of our own event sites: Greystone Event Center in Wooster, Waters Edge Event Center in Ashland, and White Oak Event Center at The Pines in Orrville.

Catering Event Staff responsibilities may include the following.

· Assisting in the transfer, set up, and service of food at events

· Assisting with food service, including plating, serving, and replenishing food and beverages

· Cleaning up at the event and ensuring all VCC property is returned to the designated location

· Maintaining cleanliness and organization of event areas throughout the duration of the event

· Maintaining cleanliness and organization of props, china and other catering equipment

· Ensuring food safety standards are met by following proper handling and storage procedures

· Collaborating with the event team members to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction

· Additional responsibilities as assigned

Rate of Pay: $12.00 – $15.00 per hour
