Junipers Wait Staff Team Members – 2 Positions

The Sayre Hospitality Group, Inc., doing business as Junipers Restaurant, is looking to add to our wait staff. The pay includes an hourly rate (based on experience) plus tips.

Responsibilities include:

· Greeting customers

· Presenting restaurant menu, taking orders, delivering food and beverage orders to customers; ability to make standard bar drinks is preferred but not required

· Ensuring food and beverages served to customers meet the established quality standards of the Sayre Hospitality Group, Inc.

· Providing prompt, efficient, and polite customer service during the entire dining experience

· Maintaining knowledge of menu items and specials

· Preparing customer bills and processing payments

· Listening to customer feedback and communicating information to management

· Escalating serious concerns to management

· Maintaining a clean and orderly restaurant environment by clearing and cleaning tables, chairs, flooring and managing stock levels of restaurant supplies

Requirements

· Must be at least 21 years of age (position requires the serving of alcohol)

· Pleasant demeanor

· Team player

· Customer focused and service based

· Ability to work flexible hours

· Ability to work in a fasted paced environment with constant movement, agility, and deliberate motion

· Excellent interpersonal communication skills

· Previous experience as a wait staff team member and with using POS systems is preferred

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: State minimum for tipped employees plus tips

Expected hours: 7 – 22 per week
